Message from the Director
The Japanese government has made creation and promotion of "innovations" one of its major policies. It came to be widely recognized that Osaka University should decide on and promote the fundamental guidelines for University-Industry Collaboration, in order to bring huge developments to society with unprecedented success.Osaka University inaugurated Intellectual Property Management and integrated its functions, including University-Industry Collaboration, entrepreneur education, and project study supports, into the Center for Advanced Science and Innovation in 2004.
